What is a Feng Shui Consultation?
Feng Shui is both a science and an art. A good Feng Shui expert will understand that there is more than one way to shift the energy of a space. The techniques, methods and compass measurements are the science; the knowledge and experience of how to apply it becomes the art.
Consultations
We can use Feng Shui in many ways and to address issues in our lives from many different perspectives. If you are new to feng shui, or are stuck in your own situations, it is usually hard to know what to do. A Feng Shui consultation with a good expert will help you clarify your issues, and find suitable solutions for your specific aspirations. The most common feng shui consultation involves but is not limited to the Home. It could also be about your business, job, health or romantic relationships. Each consultation is unique and it is an interactive process.
Getting Started with Your Feng Shui Consultation
To help you get started, I offer a Pre-Consultation meeting for us to discuss any questions you might have, and to clarify and determine your goals and aspirations for your feng shui consultation. Through this discussion, I will provide guidance and together we can decide on the type of consultation that would be most appropriate for your specific needs.
Home Consultations
A Home Consultation will typically take about 2 to 3 hours. During the consultation, Margaret will determine accurate compass readings of your home and apply a variety of classical feng shui methods to asses each living space. You will be provided with a complete analysis of your home and all of your questions and concerns will be addressed. This comprehensive analysis will reveal both long term and short term effects that your home is having on you. You will also receive recommendations on how to prevent future problems and remedy unpreventable ones.
Whether you live in a house, apartment, or condominium, all of these types of spaces can be evaluated. It does not matter whether you own or rent your home; as long as you are living in the space, it is affecting you.
Home Consultations Via Remote
While an In-Person Consultation is most ideal, sometimes time or money can be a constraint. You may live in an area where traveling to you is too costly. With technology and good preparations on your part, a consultation via remote tools is just as effective.
Prior to the consultation, Margaret will provide guidance on how to get an accurate compass reading of your home. With a detailed floor plan, accurate compass readings, and some pictures, we can work together to give you an accurate, detailed assessment of your space and advices on how to maximize your home or work space for wealth, good health and happy relationships.
What will you need to provide at the time of the consultation?

A detailed floor plan drawn to scale showing all doors and windows. An 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper is preferred over architectural drawings. If you don’t have a floor plan, you will need to have one drawn

A compass degree reading (i.e., Southwest 235 degrees, not Southwest). In feng shui, each degree reading has a separate meaning

Birth dates of the people in your home

Year of construction and the dates of any renovations (new carpet, new decorating, new room, etc.). This date is used to prepare the “natal chart” of your home
