What's Ahead in 2016?

On February 4th, the new feng shui year begins. Are you ready for the change in energeries that will be coming your way?

In giving feng shui advices, I always start with protective feng shui. This means taking care of afflictive energies that could bring sudden change of fortune and harm in your way.

In 2016 the Black Illness afflictions move to the CENTER of the feng shui map so all homes are affected by this energy. We also need to pay attention to the nasty Five Yellow that has moved to and is considerably strengthen in the Northeast sector. Two other afflictive energies you need to be conscious of are the 3 Killings which will be in the South, and the Grand Duke of Jupiter which will be in the Southwest sector. Those born in the Year of the Monkey and the Tiger need to pay special attention to the last affliction. Sounds like a lot?! Don’t panic. You just need to be mindful of using the right compass directions in your daily activities, and use feng shui elemental methods to subdue the negative afflictions.

In 2016, the auspicious good luck sectors are Southeast, South, Southwest, East and West. Southeast is for Wealth and the #1 Lucky White Star is paying a visit; South is for Fame and Recognition and is getting a boost from the #6 Heaven Star; the matriarch sector of the Southwest will be blessed with the #8 Auspicious Star; growth in the East sector gets multiplied by the #9 Purple Star; and nurture Romance & Scholastic pursuits in the West. That’s a lot too! This means you have plenty of opportunities to create favorable conditions for your own good luck to ripen.
